Michael Gay Attends Conference in Saskatoon

Michael Gay recently attended the Agricultural Biotechnology International Conference (ABIC) September 12 – 15 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Gay met with the ABIC Foundation membership and leadership to discuss the opportunity of hosting the conference in Madison, WI in the future. He also met with a host of global crop science companies, local and provincial economic development and bioag organizations, and the Canadian Light Source (Synchrotron) to learn more about their resources and introduce them to the BioAg Gateway and new BioLink Facility. Gay toured Innovation Place, a University of Saskatchewan affiliated Research Park that is home to the Canadian National Research Council and several bioag related companies, incubators, and organizations. The park is situated on 80 acres adjacent to the University, and builds on the institution’s strengths in agriculture, information technology, and environmental and life sciences. If you are interested in learning more please contact Michael Gay at 608.267.4933 or mgay@bioaggateway.com.
